Over the course of her stay at the remote residence, Ana becomes more and more familiar with Holden’s idiosyncratic methods that require the participating artists to abandon their own identities and live emotionally and psychologically as their characters. Captivated by her artistic investigation, Ana immerses herself wholly into the method and starts living as Violeta, until her fiction loses control.

Violeta is a Southern Gothic horror film about a young Mexican woman who believes she is being haunted by her best friend's ghost.

Recently divorced, 72-year-old Violeta lives alone in her childhood house, tending to her lush tropical garden and making plans to turn her property into a boarding house. When she discovers the bank is about to take away her house, she breaks all the rules to hold onto her home and her freedom.

Violeta is in her early twenties and is doomed to spend the summer in Madrid doing an internship in a publishing house. During those weeks, she will make new friends, and she will make decisions, some good, some bad. And, above all, she will learn that failure is more an art than a tragedy.

Narrated by Ethan Hawke, Welcome Nowhere tells the true story of a community of Roma people (commonly known as Gypsies) who live in old train boxcars in Sofia, Bulgaria after being forcibly evicted from their homes. Richard Foster is the brains of a quartet of con-artists that includes Giltedge, a stock swindler; "Painless," a phony dentist; and "Gorgeous," along as decoration and bait. Richard goes off alone to attend a reunion of his old high-school class but, when he gets there, he discovers that some of his old friends turn out to be not as simple as he remembered them. The reunion is really a plot to lure an old millionaire, Andrew Anshutter, and his money back to town. Richard enters into the scheme and sends for his friends. Thinks are going well for all concerned, with the exception of Anshutter, but Richard falls in love with his old flame from high-school, Susan Adams, and complications arise.
